Nestled near the heart of Kansas City, our award-winning venue boasts a rich history dating back to 1872. Officially acquired in 2024 by top KC venue owner, Blake Harris, 1890 continues to set a high bar with its historic beauty and relaxing ambiance. Today, the entire property has been elevated to specialize in hosting events, namely weddings, featuring two separate indoor and outdoor event venues, an elegant ballroom, a reception hall, a covered cocktail barn and a host of other featured amenities. We recently had 120 of our closest friends and family for our wedding at 1890. It was such an awesome experience working with them! The owner and manager were wonderful and took care of literally everything. Our entire wedding party was able to have our rehearsal dinner on property the night before. The bride and bridesmaids stayed in the house the night before the wedding and loved the experience. Thank you 1890 for giving this old but new couple a day in our lives we will always cherish!
