May I hold my ceremony & reception at 1890?

Absolutely! Many of our brides and grooms use the gorgeous pergola outside to say, “I do” and hold the reception in our beautifully constructed 12 chandelier lighted grand ballroom. We also have a secondary wedding venue on property called The Fields at 1890 that has a beautiful outdoor ceremony location and sits next to it’s own reception hall.

Do you have events all year round at 1890?

Yes! Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer we host indoor and outdoor ceremonies, wedding receptions, company events, holiday parties, baby showers - you name it!

How many guests can 1890 accommodate?

The 1890 Grand Ballroom can seat up to 300 guests comfortably for entertainment. The Fields at 1890 can seat up to 150. Our Victorian house can seat a maximum of 50 guests and same for our newly remodeled Cocktail Barn.

Does 1890 offer lodging onsite?

Yes! Our Victorian House, studio apartment and groom’s suite are all available for rent 1 or 2 nights on your special weekend! Lodging onsite can host up to 16. We also have prearranged discounted rates for room blocks at hotels in the surrounding area!

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

If it rains, we will help you transform the Grand Ballroom or Reception Hall into a beautiful ceremony area. Floral arrangements and decor can be brought into the indoor reception areas to create the perfect space to say, “I do”. After the ceremony, we will quickly transform the space into your reception area.

Do you have any recommended vendors?

Yes! Over the years of organizing and planning weddings and special events, we have created very trustworthy relationships with outstanding vendors of all types. Whether it's photography, videograhers, catering, bands, DJ's, floral, transportation, or hair and makeup specialists, we have a long list of approved vendors we can provide you to choose from.

What are my bar options?

1890 Wedding + Events and The Fields at 1890 both have exclusive in-house bar service.

Do you have any preferred caterers?

Yes! When our couples choose from one of our recommended or preferred vendors, their wedding day is guaranteed to run smoothly! For Saturday dates at Eighteen Ninety only, we are exclusive with Brancato's Catering. Their food & service is unmatched!

How long does a tour of the property take?

A typical tour of our facility ranges from 30 minutes up to 1 hour. The more our visitors can provide us with upfront information as to what they are looking for and what they are wanting to accomplish, the better we can tailor your tour to your objectives.

What is the time allotment for an event?

Rental time of 12 hours includes: up to 1 hour for ceremony, up to 5-hour reception, 1 hour for vendor breakdown, and the hours prior are for getting ready, pictures, setting up, etc. Per city ordinance the latest an event may run is 11pm at 1890 and 10pm at The Fields on weekends. Additional hours are available for a fee.

How do I book an event at 1890 or The Fields at 1890?

To book 1890 is simple. Once you have toured our two properties, we will send you a proposal. Once our proposal is signed it becomes our contract. We simply need your signed contract and deposit to book your event.

How much does it cost to book a wedding at 1890

Pricing varies at 1890 depending on the elements you'd like to have on your special day as well as the time of the year you'd like to have your wedding. Our prime months are May, June, September and October which hold a higher fee while the other months are set at discounted fees.

On average, we see the wedding venue and event space rental for The Fields at 1890 between $5,800 and $7,000 while 1890 Weddings + Events prices range from $7,500 to $10,000. Of course, we can work with all types of budgets and pending upon your requirements, we are happy to try and accomodate the best we can.

Do you have additional fees?

Additional fees are all up to you! 1890 gives you the option to add an overnight stay for up to 10 guests in the Victorian house as well as rentals such as love seat, drapes, and/or booking extra hours of fun.

Sales tax is 7.1% & credit/debit card fees may apply.

Does 1890 Require Event Insurance?

Yes! All weddings & events are required to purchase event insurance. This event insurance can be purchased through your personal insurance provider or eventhelper.com.
